The group skated through the streets of Manhattan, visiting several New York City landmarks, including the United Nations, Rockefeller Center, Central Park, and of course, Times Square.

Despite the large size of the group, the event ran smoothly thanks to the expert leadership of the Wednesday Night Skate Staff. There was extra time, so the group of 100+ took a tour downtown, hitting Bleecker street, Washington Square Park — all well within the two-hour event time limit.

It’s cold, snow is on the ground, and no one in their right mind feels like strapping on a pair of inline skates — but pretty soon our season will begin again and we’ll be rolling along the streets of Manhattan, enjoying warm Wednesday nights around town and cold beers in the bar!

We are the largest, friendliest, and most fun inline skating group in New York City.  Each Wednesday night from April through October, inline skaters gather at 7:45pm at Union Square South (14th street) for a fun-filled, two-hour street skate.

Inline skating is a fantastic way to see and explore New York City, and a great way to meet new friends. The Wednesday Night Skate runs from the first Wednesday in April to the last Wednesday in October.
