On April 7th, 2010, more than 100 inline skaters took to the streets for the New York City Wednesday Night Skate Season Premier. The group skated through the streets of Manhattan, visiting several New York City landmarks, including the United Nations, Rockefeller Center, Central Park, and of course, Times Square.
Despite the large size of the group, the event ran smoothly thanks to the expert leadership of the Wednesday Night Skate Staff. There was extra time, so the group of 100+ took a tour downtown, hitting Bleecker street, Washington Square Park — all well within the two-hour event time limit.
